Cookie Joe
Cookie Joe has been one of Houston's finest choreographers and professional performers for over 40 years. She began dancing at the early age of two, and at the age of nine, she earned her first principal role in musical theater. She has danced with many other dance legends such as Patsy Swayze, Camille Hill, and the Houston Ballet. Cookie created an unique dance program for the local Olympic Gymnastic trainees that are hopeful of Champions Gymnastics in Classical Ballet. Cookie spends her time educating children with special needs in the Katy School District. Cookie is an active supporter of the Star of Hope Homeless Mission in Houston.
XiaoChen Chen
Xiaochen Chen was a principal dancer of the Guangzhou Ballet Theater and given the title of "Honored Student" at the Shanghai Dance School, which is where she graduated as a professional dancer. She was a soloist in many popular performances such as "Butterfly Lovers", "The Yellow River", "Romeo and Juliet", "La Traviata", "Swan Lake", "La Bayadere", "La Sylphide", and "Coppelia". In 2011, she was chosen as one of distinguished guests to perform at the Starry Starry Night Gala along with mayor Annise Parker. She is currently a ballet instructor at Huang Dance Studio.
Sheri Glandon
Sheri Glandon had received a full scholarship to The Julliard School Dance Division. After she finished school there, she professionally performed in the San Antonio Ballet, as well as the Milwaukee Ballet, and lastly, Pennsylvania. Yacor Sharwin and Lynn Taylor Corbett had both choreographed two ballets especially for her. Now, she is currently training students at Mitsi's Dancing School of all levels in classical ballet, jazz, and tap.
Chen Xing
Chen Xing started her dancing career at the age of thirteen. She trained many years in the Beijing Dance Academy and graduated with a Bachelor degree in 2002. Under her teaching, the dance programs "Colorful Sleeves in Snow Field" and "Happy Little Cowboy" got 1st place in the eighth Beijing Arts Festival. In the National Oriental Young Artists Performance Competition, the group dance “Happy Little Cowboy” tutored by her got Municipal Golden Prize of Beijing, National Silver Prize and herself also got “Excellent Tutor Award”. She is currently the director of the school "New Rising Stars" in the Woodlands.
